For my action with animals, I can tell that the first time I came here I understand greek people doesn’t care about animals. The first year I lived here, I found Toby who was baby and he is now with me for many years. The second summer, I found Dolly, very small and Titus. Dolly lives now in Swisserland and Titus has a home in Germany.

In the year 2012 streetdog Douchka was pregnant and afterwith her seven babies. Before I was alone but then Gabi came and helped me with the 7 babies and now  we are a very good team for the dogs and cats. So I was happy to find others persons who decide to do something for all these poor dogs and puppies.

Of course we cannot save all but when they are on our way, we must do it. This is my opinion, it would be not possible for me just to look and do nothing. And also I am glad to meet a lot of persons, tourists, from Germany, England, Holland who adopted our dogs or gave for food and help us. It is a kind of balance against indifference and cruelty.
It is a long work because the island is big and there are many villages but I believe greek people begin to know us and some accept to sterelize their dogs. It will take time so we must go on. And it is a joy when we see the dogs in their new house and family, happy and loved.
